For me, if you play this sub-sub-genre of music you're either Darkspace or you're not. But now I am forced to admit a third possibility... you are Voidsphere. Each 20 minute track infects and inflicts with continuous forward energy, eventually led by a fuzzy but clear and prominent guitar melody. Guitar chugging is occasional but assists with momentum, while screams are a sparse but complimentary part of the journey, almost as if they are happening in fixed spaces, while we as listeners fly by. rvss.eel

Spanish Black Metal. I am late as always but i am positive (!) this Negativa album is their best so far & they started impressively high so... :) Could not recommend it more! bmurator
A blackened doom concept record about the very real problem of amphibian extinction, “Croak” is a punishing, essential listen. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 23, 2022
Joseph Hawker subverts the musical and sociopolitical status quo with a black metal triptych that's as incendiary as it is impressionistic. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 5, 2022

Yay more dissonant Mississippi death metal or DMDM as no one calls it ever. Appeals to doomsters more than metal of death fans. Instills the wonder of free-form Japanese rock and combines it with the heaviness and hypnotism of death and doom metal. Vocals are awesome and I wouldn't expect anything less from Jared Moran. 2nd song is noticeably rawer than the rest. "Gathering" is a celebration of slowness and getting drunk beyond all reason. tr_🇺🇦
